WESTMAN EVALUATION & REHAB: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

RE: COVID-19

The  BRANDON CLINIC and FIRST STREET PLAZA remain open as does Westman Evaluation & Rehab. Should you choose to keep your appointments for Physiotherapy you will notice something different when you arrive. You may now only enter via the main doors on the North (McTavish Avenue) and South sides of the centre of the building. These doors will be locked but there are Brandon Clinic staff members waiting between doors and will let you in when you arrive. Once between doors, you will be triaged and will be asked: 1) If you or a family member have travelled outside the province in the last 14 days, 2) If you have been in close contact with someone showing signs or symptoms of cold/flu, 3) If you are suffering any signs or symptoms of cold /flu. If you answer Yes to any of these questions, you will be told you must leave the building and return home where you must quarantine yourself for 14 days. If you are able to answer No to all these questions you will need to use hand sanitizer before continuing to Westman Evaluation & Rehab. You may use the central stairway only or the East elevator.

Staff of Westman Evaluation & Rehab are subject to the same procedures. In our Physiotherapy Clinic we are ensuring a safe environment. In the meantime, reduce your risk of Covid-19 infection by: frequently cleaning hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water (see video below), covering mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing (dispose of tissue immediately and wash your hands) and avoid close contact with anyone with fever or cough.

In the event that non-essential services need to be suspended in the First Street Plaza (restaurant, hairdresser or us) we will contact you to cancel your appointment and, hopefully, reschedule your appointment. There are no Massage Therapy services available until March 30 although this may be extended. There will be no fees associated with any cancelled  appointments.
